FlexLease redefines traditional car ownership. It’s your ticket to hassle-free wheels! Drive newer cars with routine maintenance and registration already covered in your payment. Need insurance? We've got you covered or you can bring your own! Say farewell to long-term commitments - return the car anytime and dive into the flexibility of FlexLease!

How FlexLease Works

  1. Begin by applying for pre-qualification at: Quick Qualify

  2. Proceed with electronic identification and income verification.

  3. Upon approval, choose a vehicle within your budget.

  4. Schedule an appointment with FlexRide.

  5. Bring a valid driver’s license to the vehicle pick-up location.

  6. Complete a motor vehicle check (MVR) in person.

  7. Provide proof of insurance or opt for our insurance coverage if eligible.

  8. Bring a valid debit or credit card to make your initial payment and set up recurring auto payments.

Qualification Requirements

Approval for the FlexLease is determined by income and stability rather than credit score. Here are the basic eligibility requirements:

Basic Eligibility Criteria

  • Have a valid driver's license

  • Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age

  • Acceptable driving records

  • No outstanding balances with any car rental company

  • No more than three (3) vehicle repossessions within the past 2 years.

  • Minimum Income required of $3000 before taxes

Approval Process

Approval for FlexLease is not based on credit score. Why do I need to apply?

While approval for FlexLease isn't contingent on credit score, an application is still necessary. Our approval process involves a soft credit pull which doesn't affect your credit score. This step helps in verifying your identity and ensuring that you meet our eligibility criteria.

Mileage Plans

Is there a mileage limit?

Yes. Our basic mileage plan starts at 1500 miles per month. Your payment is based on your selected vehicle and mileage plan. Additionally, we provide four (4) mileage plans for FlexLease, giving you maximum flexibility. You have the option to upgrade your mileage plan at any time.

How does mileage usage work with my plan?

We offer four mileage plans designed to match your driving needs allowing you to choose the one that best fits your expected mileage usage:

  • Bronze Plan: 1500 miles per month

  • Silver Plan: 2500 miles per month

  • Gold Plan: 3500 miles per month

  • Platinum Plan: 5000 miles per month

Your mileage is replenished monthly and updates hourly to provide real-time information. Any unused miles automatically roll over ensuring you never lose them during the term of your FlexLease. To maximize your plan, additional mileage is available! For most cars, excess mileage costs 35 cents per mile. For luxury and premier vehicles, the rate begins at 58 cents per additional mile. Usage Restrictions

Am I allowed to use my FlexLeased vehicle for ride-share or delivery?

No, utilizing a FlexLease vehicle for rideshare purposes is strictly forbidden and constitutes a breach of your FlexLease agreement. FlexRide provides limited inventory specifically designated for rideshare accompanied by a distinct set of terms and conditions. For further information please inquire with FlexRide directly.

Purchase Option

Is it possible for me to purchase my vehicle at the end of my FlexLease?

A built-in purchase option is not included in FlexLease. Nonetheless, you are encouraged to proceed with a new FlexLease subscription if you wish. You may also check with our sister company FlexRide Auto Direct for pre-owned vehicles for sale.

Payment Details

Periodic Payment and Billing Frequency.

You will be billed weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly through autopay depending on how you set up your FlexLease subscription. Your periodic payment covers the cost of the vehicle, your monthly mileage package, maintenance, roadside assistance, and insurance if you’ve signed up for FlexRide’s on-Rent Coverage. Depending on your location, your periodic payment may include local fees, surcharges, and taxes. Your periodic payment is determined by numerous factors including, but not limited to, the type of vehicle you select and market conditions. Currently, our weekly base rates range from $125 to $250. FlexRiders can select a mileage package that suits their needs from 1500 miles per month to 5000 miles per month.

Failure to Pay

If payment for your FlexLease subscription isn't received on the due date, your account will be considered delinquent. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any promises to pay or exceptions.

We will send reminders via email and SMS, and/or call you to update your payment method or settle the overdue balance. These notifications will continue until your balance is settled.

However, if you fail to make payment within 4 days of the missed due date, your account will be reviewed by our Risk Management team for immediate repossession. Repossession will result in a ban from future participation in the FlexLease Car Subscription program.

FlexLease offers the flexibility to return the vehicle anytime without penalties. If you are unable to make a payment, please notify us and return the vehicle immediately.

By voluntarily returning the vehicle, you will be able to reapply for a FlexLease with us in the future.

Is there an additional cost?

Customers are responsible for EV charging/fuel, tickets, and tolls. Tickets and tolls will be added and billed as incurred. See our FlexLease Fees Schedule for details.

What’s the activation fee/start payment?

The activation fee starts at $999 on most vehicles. Check out our FlexLease Inventory for details.

Is the activation fee/start payment refundable?

The start payment is not refundable. It is NOT a deposit.

Vehicle Maintenance

Am I responsible for the vehicle maintenance?

FlexRide is responsible for the routine maintenance due on the vehicle. Routine maintenance includes oil change, tire rotation, safety inspection, and tire replacement due to normal wear and tear.

When should I send the vehicle for routine maintenance?

Routine maintenance is based on the mileage, make, and model of the vehicle. Oil change will be due every 8k miles on most vehicles with some exceptions. You will be notified 1-2 week(s) before it’s due so we can schedule an appointment for your service. As part of the routine maintenance, oil changes services will be at no cost to the customer.

What to do if I get an alert on my dashboard?

Most of the time you will receive an alert on your dashboard to notify you that you have a service due soon. In most cases, this is for an oil change service reminder. In that case, please call us at 703-910-3593 so we can schedule an appointment for you. In the case where the alert is not due to an oil change (check engine light), we will ask you to return the car to our location so we can further investigate.

My car broke down! What are the next steps?

If you notice a fault or malfunction of your FlexRide vehicle, please contact our client service line at (703)-910-3593. After you have reported the fault to us, our damage & maintenance team will find a partner workshop in your area to assist you with the repairs.

Accident Management

What do I do in case of an accident?

First and foremost, we would like to express our concern for your well-being and assure you that we are here to support you through this challenging time. Your safety and the resolution of this matter are our top priorities.

To assist you in navigating the aftermath of the accident, we would like to provide you with some guidance on the next steps:

  1. Fill out an official police report form, complete FlexRide's incident report form, and obtain the following information. Send it to support@almva.com.

  2. As soon as it is safe to do so, inform the police immediately by calling 911. After the accident has been reported, ask to be given a copy of the police report, including the name, address, mobile number, and license plate number of the other party involved in the accident.

  3. Complete FlexRide's Incident Report Form at: FlexLease Incident Report Form

  4. Initiate the claims process with the insurance company promptly. Please provide us with the claim number, insurance company name, and adjuster's name along with their email address and phone number.

Vehicle Return

How do I prepare my FlexLease vehicle for return?

To prepare your vehicle for return, please use the following checklist:

  • The car is completely cleaned inside and out.

  • All accessories present at vehicle pick-up are returned with the car. This includes but is not limited to floor mats, charging cables for electric cars, wheel locks.

  • All personal items, stickers, or adhesive films have been removed.

  • All vehicle keys are present.

  • Vehicle registration document is present.

  • All previous damage has been reported to FlexRide.

  • The fuel/charge level is the same as when you first received your car.

  • Ensure that the check engine light is not on.

What If I need to return the car? Will I get charged an early termination fee?

You can return the vehicle at any time without penalties or questions asked, provided you give a 5-day notice. However, any outstanding fees such as traffic violations, overdue amounts, and damages to the vehicle must be paid in full when you return the vehicle.
